AVArts provides grants for supplemental arts education programs and experiences in the schools and grants for arts projects that benefit other target groups in the community.
The arts benefit people throughout their lives. Studies show that the arts create rich learning environments that foster innovation, culture and engagement in school and the community. Some examples of programs that AVArts has funded are dance, theater, poetry writing, bookmaking and sculpture.
With the continued support of the Amy Ensign-Barstow Memorial Fund at the East Bay Community Foundation, the George and Ruth Bradford Foundation, and our many individual and business donors, AVArts funds a diverse range of arts programs at both the elementary and junior/senior high schools.
Grant applications are accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the year for consideration. In order to apply for a grant please download and follow the instructions in the AVArts Grant Proposal Guidelines below.
